Opportunities throughout my life have given me the tools needed to be an Instructional Designer and eLearning developer.
I have been a creator of sorts my entire life. I learned how to create music from my flute as a young 5th Grade student. I learned how to create lesson plans as a student teacher at the University of Illinois which ultimately led to the production of solid sounds from pieces of music that were written for elementary and middle school bands. But it hasn't stopped there.
Now I am using my creativity and passion to design learner-centric training modules that are engaging and interactive for all learners across multiple industries.
Speaking of passion, when I am not actively working to create new, engaging works for learners, I enjoy traveling, the views of my new home in Arizona, playing musical instruments, and spending time with my fiancée and 11-year old Basset/Dachshund mix.
Please feel free to connect with me through LinkedIn or email! I love meeting new people!

These badges are part of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. They are earned after completing over 100+ lessons and receiving extensive coaching from ID professional coaches. Earners complete a rigorous set of activities that take modules from "good" to "great" and increase engagement among learners, include developing a scenario-driven eLearning module with extensive feedback, evaluating existing modules, completing simulated client projects, and multiple revisions.
In a world of continual growth, I worked to upskill in the technology industry to have a better understanding of what the trends are today. Gaining this knowledge has also helped me in the creation of training modules and being able to look at training with a data-driven approach if necessary.
